All our products are 100% authentic. With over 15 years of experience in the market, our highly trained authentication team carefully verifies each item. In addition, we utilize advanced authenticity verification technology approved by the Dubai Department of Economy.

Every purchase comes with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by our company, included in the invoice. This certificate guarantees a full refund if any item is ever proven to be counterfeit.

Each item comes with the specific inclusions provided by the consignor — this may include a dust bag, box, or both. To see exactly what’s included with a particular item, please refer to the product page and check the description section, where all details are clearly listed.

We offer a variety of products, including both carefully chosen pre-owned pieces and brand-new items. All products, whether pre-owned or new, go through a strict quality and authenticity check. Our goal is to provide exceptional value while upholding the highest levels of quality, trust, and reliability for our clients.

Payment

UAE: We offer Cash On Delivery/Card on Delivery, and we accept Visa, Mastercard, Wire Transfers, Tamara and Tabby at our shops and as well as our website and app.

Rest of the World: We accept Visa and Mastercard on our website and our app as well as bank transfers.

Yes, The Closet is legally required to collect VAT on orders delivered within the UAE, in accordance with Law No. 52 of 2017, Article 29.

For UAE customers, both Tabby and Tamara are available for use in-store and online.

For international orders, Tabby is currently available for customers in KSA only.

You can choose Tabby or Tamara at checkout to split your payment—Tabby offers 4 interest-free installments, while Tamara allows you to pay in 3 easy payments.

Yes, we offer VAT refunds for tourists both in-store and online. To be eligible, please make sure to request the VAT refund at the time of purchase.

We are currently based only in Dubai and do not have additional branches elsewhere in the UAE at this time.

Shipping and Return

We ship your order within 48 hours of receiving your order, where transit time is as follows:

  • UAE: Same Day and Next Day Delivery.
  • GCC: 2 to 3 Days.
  • Rest of the World: 2 to 4 Days.

Orders are delivered on the same day or the next day, depending on your location and the item’s location.

We offer free delivery and shipping for orders value of AED3000 ($800) and above

For orders below AED3000 we charger AED35 for local delivery in UAE and for international orders, we ship using DHL Express.

Yes, we offer international shipping. Please note that customs duties and import taxes must be paid by the customer in their respective country. 

While we’d love to help reduce or waive these charges, all our shipments are declared as “pre-owned items” in compliance with customs regulations and shipment insurance policies. 

We are also required to declare the actual value of each item and cannot mark packages as "gifts."

For more information on duties and taxes, we recommend checking with your local customs office.

For in-store purchases, all sales are final in accordance with our policy and UAE Consumer Protection Laws, as the items are pre-owned.

For online purchases, we offer a 3-day return policy if you are not satisfied with the product. To be eligible for a return, the black security tag must remain attached.

To help you make a confident purchase and avoid unnecessary returns, feel free to request additional details, images, or videos of the item—we’re happy to assist!

If the item is returned with the security tag still attached, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days, but please note that your bank may take up to 30 days to reflect the amount, depending on their internal processing.

If it has been less than 3 days since you received your order, you can request a return via our website. Alternatively, you can bring the item to the nearest branch within 3 days.Please note thatterms and conditions apply.

Purchase and Consignment Inquiries

Thank you for your interest in selling with us. You have three options:

1- Submit your item details via our website.

2- Send photos of the item via WhatsApp to our purchasing team at +971 55 982 2907.

Both options will provide you with an initial price estimate based on the photos, which may take up to 5 business days.

If you accept the estimate, you’ll need to bring the item to our store for a final valuation within 5 to 7 business days.

3- Bring the items directly to the store. Your items will remain with our team for 5 to 7 business days while we prepare the pricing. If you agree with the offered price, we will proceed with the sale. If not, you can collect your items.

Our commission rate varies based on the item’s price range:

General Items:
• AED 0 – 990: 35%
• AED 991 – 5,000: 32%
• AED 5,001 – 15,000: 27%
• AED 15,001 – 100,000: 21%
• Over AED 100,000: 15%

Shoes:
• Pre-owned: 40%
• New: 30%

Our pricing is carefully set by our buying team, based on historical sales data of similar items. We also take into account the item's original retail price, condition, color, style, and current market trends to ensure a fair and competitive price.

Our consignment agreement has a minimum duration of 60 days.
